THE TEAM
Liz Weglarz is an Engagement Manager at CLA, where she coaches leaders and teams to enhance effectiveness, drive sustainable growth, and navigate complex organizational challenges. She brings a decade of experience empowering leaders across diverse industries, including technology, consulting, non-profit, and healthcare.
Liz specializes in leadership development, employee engagement, change management, and conflict resolution. Her approach integrates practical business acumen with psychological insights to help individuals and organizations achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes. Her client portfolio spans organizations at all stages of growth, from early-stage startups to established enterprises.
In addition to her work at CLA, Liz teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in motivation, leadership, and human resource management at Baruch College. Her research focuses on leadership networks, motivation, and emotional intelligence.
Liz is a Ph.D. candidate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at The City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Stony Brook University.

What is your favorite assessment and why?
For team development, I love using DISC, as it offers powerful interpersonal insight through a simple, accessible framework. For individual coaching, Hogan is my go-to for its richness.
Which of CLA’s service offerings do you most enjoy talking about?
Leadership development, team performance, culture transformation, and coaching are where I find the most purpose and energy.
When you're not helping clients navigate complex leadership challenges, where might we find you?
Dancing or staying active, cooking and sharing meals with family and friends, or chipping away at my dissertation.
