Mia Behrens is a Consultant at Contemporary Leadership Advisors (CLA), where she partners with clients to enhance leadership capabilities and drive organizational development and design initiatives. Mia is in the process of finishing her Master’s in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, with her studies centering on leadership development, organizational change, and group dynamics. Previously, Mia worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Center in the Department of Behavioral Sciences. While at MSK, Mia focused on research relating to meaning and purpose. During her studies, Mia also interned at a leadership advisory firm, Summit Leadership Partners, where she assisted in building out their team coaching practice and facilitated leadership assessments for development and selection.
Mia graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. in Psychology and Theology, where she focused on the intersection between spirituality and psychology. When she’s not at work, Mia enjoys spending her free time doing anything outdoors: skiing, hiking, cycling, or playing volleyball, as well as trying new restaurants and exploring neighborhoods in NYC with her friends.
