Blaine is a Senior Faculty member at Contemporary Leadership Advisors. He is a seasoned people analytics leader with 15+ years of experience turning workforce data into business impact. As former Director of People Insights Consulting at Atlassian, he built an enterprise-wide analytics function, driving workforce planning, talent retention, and organizational performance.
He led Atlassian’s employee listening strategy during COVID-19, shaping the Team Anywhere model. Previously, he led people analytics in Healthcare, Insurance, and Banking.
Blaine holds an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from NYU and a B.A. in Cognitive Neuroscience from UC Berkeley. He specializes in analytics strategy, predictive modeling, workforce planning, and ethical AI to drive business outcomes.
