Matt Golden is an Associate Partner at Contemporary Leadership Advisors, where he helps organizations turn complex talent and people challenges into measurable business results. Known for translating culture and talent dynamics into the language executives care about most — growth, risk, and performance — Matt builds trusted relationships at the C-suite and has deep expertise in top-team effectiveness, talent strategy, culture transformation, and large-scale workforce and organization redesign.
Before joining CLA, Matt spent more than 25 years in consulting, Fortune 500 leadership, and advisory roles, including at Korn Ferry, EY, Cardinal Health, and Accenture — experience that gives him both practitioner depth and commercial instincts.
Matt earned his Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University.
Outside of work, Matt is an active supporter and participant in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) working to raise needed funds for cancer research and enjoys his weekends with family and friends (playing as much golf as his family allows!).

What is your favorite assessment and why?
I am a big fan of assessments in general as I think they provide a unique view into the way individuals think, feel and behave. I love assessing teams using DiSC and or StrengthsFinder to get both the individual and team view to help teams understand how to navigate different dynamics.
